St Ives bay (Two Hours)
This has to be one of the best ways to see St Ives and St Ives bay. We depart from St Ives harbour and head east across the bay towards Hayle bar, as we pass Porthminster point and reef we head a little south and make for carrack Gladden a stunning headland making the end of Carbis Bay. We then pass North of Lelant dunes and the mouth of Hayle estuary a great kite surfing spot that marks the beginning of two and a half miles of dunes and beaches a National Trust protected area.
From there we hug the coast North and follow the sandy beaches of Gwithian and Godrevy, well known as two of the best surf brakes in Cornwall. As we pass Godrevy Lighthouse we start to bear away and head for the Eddie Stones Buoy keeping the Stones to our starboard side.
We then head West for Clodgy Point before we turn and make our way back to St Ives passing Mans Head, Porthmeor beach and the Island. We expect to arrive back in St Ives two hours after our Departure.

Half Day dependent on wind and tide. Down the coast St Ives - Pendeen Lighthouse - St Ives Up the coast St Ives - Portreath - St Ives
Spend half a day exploring the rugged beauty of the North Cornish coast. Depending on the wind and the tides of the day. If we go East we will head out past Godrevy Lighthouse then make our way up the coast towards Portreath. West and we will head out past St Ives Island and down the coast towards Pendean Lighthouse.
All of the North coast of Cornwall is rich in marine life, stunning cliffs and small coves so if we head East or West, make sure you bring your cameras to capture the memories of the day.
After cruising the coastline for about 10 nautical miles we will find a nice little bay to drop the hook and have some lunch. Or have lunch on the move in the cockpit and keep on sailing. After two hours we will turn and make our way back towards St Ives.
With this trip we will include, a traditional Cornish Pasty for lunch or maybe a cream tea in the afternoon. With all the excitement, scenery and sea air this is well deserved nourishment which is just what we need when sailing.

St Ives - Lands End - St Ives (Full Day)
This is a full days sailing heading West down to Lands End and returning to St Ives. On our Journey we will be cruising along some of the most rugged coast line and cliffs that the southwest of Cornwall has to offer.
Cornwall's coastline is rich with marine wildlife breading colonies of sea birds high up on the cliffs Seals, Dolphins and Basking sharks are often sighted. As we head West down the North coast of Cornwall we will pass the first hamlet of Zennor. St Ives harbour walls are said to be granite (traditional Cornish stone) quarried out of Zennor.
Then we round Gurnards Head and are sight of Pendeen Lighthouse. Before Construction of Pendeen Lighthouse year 1900, many ships were lost on the rocks around Pendeen due to not being able to see over the especially high cliffs for lights to navigate from.
We then head towards our final headland left to pass, Cape Cornwall the only real 'cape' in the UK. From there we are due South keeping the Brisons rocks well to port on down to Lands End.
Although we may be offering the chance to go on around to Penzance, we will then normally turn and head back up towards St Ives. (After the photos of course.)
